Saddles and equine products

Castleberry Saddle Shop was established in 1985 with the idea of providing quality leather work at reasonable prices. Since its inception Castleberry has proven itself to be an establishment built on integrity and friendship. With the idea that word of mouth is the best advertisement, Gio Zappetta, owner and saddler, has focused his shop toward service. We offer a limited number of products to our customers selling only items that have been tested in our own barn. With an emphasis on the horse's comfort we offer and design only products we believe to be of  benefit to the horse's performance. We are able to offer custom products as well as ready-made to best fit the needs of our customers.       

We are a continuing education shop and are constantly striving to increase our knowledge. In the last few years Giovanni has attended many saddle fit and saddle making seminars. As a result we now utilize the advanced technology of the saddle tech gauge, giving us the best possible chance to fit a horse's back. With the 3-D picture we receive with the gauge, we are able to factor in a rider's weight to best determine how a saddle should be reflocked, or to aid us in ordering a new saddle.   

At Castleberry we pride ourselves on offering only the finest in products and services. Our retail line includes Frank Baines of England and Theo Sommer of Germany Saddles as well as Skito Equalizer saddle pads, all designed to give your horse the opportunity to perform at his best.  We also represent Saddle Barn and Pro Rodeo Equipment. We welcome your special and custom orders.  Special programs and considerations are given to Pony Club, FFA, 4-H and National High School Rodeo Association Members. We especially welcome the chance to problem solve for special needs horses and  riders.

Repair and Custom Services

We offer only the finest hand made custom English and Western bridles with continuous double needle hand stitching and quality precision machine stitching. Custom harness can be fitted to your horse, large or small.  Our custom fitted products are on every horse's wish list.  We do all repairs, English and Western as well as reflocking for our English clients and rebuilding including new sheepskins for our Western clients. We also offer full service cleaning and conditioning of your saddle. .We welcome your special and custom orders. We especially welcome the chance to problem solve for special needs horses and riders. Special programs and considerations are given to Pony Club, FFA, 4-H and National High School Rodeo Association Members.  Saddle fit clinics can be done at your facility or ours.
